Recently, the 2023 AFC Asian Cup China (Qingdao) theme sculpture was erected on the north side of Huiquan Square in Qingdao.
Exactly 90 years after hosting the 17th North China Games, Qingdao will welcome the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, a top international sporting event.
Located in Chengyang District of Qingdao, the Asian Cup Youth Football Stadium will serve as one of the official venues of the Asian Cup upon completion and will also become a new landmark of Qingdao's fashionable sports culture in the future.
Against this background, the location of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup China (Qingdao) theme sculpture at Huiquan Square adjacent to Tiantai Stadium is not only a tribute to the city's 100-year history of sports development, but also represents the belief and determination of the "City of Football" to inherit its history, burst into vitality and strive for new heights.
