Qingdao Promotes Sports for Persons With Disabilities

On the evening of March 12, 2022, the Chinese Paralympic ice hockey team won the bronze medal at the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympics.

Chinese Paralympic Ice Hockey Team was established in Qingdao in 2017. After five-year hard work, they fulfilled their mission of winning awards at the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympics and showed the self-improvement spirit of Chinese disabled athletes.

On March 14, 2022, the Chinese Olympic delegation sent a letter of acknowledgement to Qingdao for its outstanding contribution to the Paralympic ice hockey team's excellent achievements.

Besides, Qingdao is also expanding its programs to create a wider stage for disabled athletes, allowing their career to blossom in all fields.

Persons with disabilities need to pay more hardships to turn their dreams to reality. Qingdao's disability sports boom reflects the continued improvement.

The 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympics has come to an end, but the persons with disabilities will continue to run to a better life.
