Qingdao Signed a Vocational Education Cooperation Agreement With Sister City Acapulco

On June 7, Impression of Mexico·Qingdao-Acapulco friendship cities virtual meeting was held in Qingdao Vocation and Technical College of Hotel Management to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mexico. Qingdao and Acapulco are the first pair of sister cities between China and Mexico.

Qingdao Vocation and Technical College of Hotel Management and Acapulco International Culinary Research Center signed a memorandum of cooperation at the meeting, and conducted an exchange and display for traditional cooking skills to promote the development of vocational education cooperation and folk cultural exchanges.

After the signing ceremony, the two parties exhibited traditional Chinese and Mexican cooking skills. Taking cultural exchanges as a link and food as a carrier, the two parties demonstrated their friendship to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mexico. In the future, friendship between two sister cities will reach a new level.

Since Qingdao and Acapulco established friendship cities in 1985, the two parties have carried out fruitful and extensive exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, tourism and culture.

On February 14, 2022, the two cities jointly held a lighting ceremony for the landmark buildings in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Mexico, and achieved good results.
