In the afternoon of August 18, 2022, Qingdao City Promotion Convention “a vibrant ocean city and a livable and lovable city” was held in Regensburg, Germany. The event was hosted by the Information Office of Qingdao Municipal People’s Government and organized by the Regensburg Association for Germany-China Friendship and Cultural Exchange.
The event started with a promotional film “Qingdao, China”. Through the video, the guests were able to experience the beauty and daily life of Qingdao, its rich history and culture and the vitality of a modern international metropolis.
Xu Shucheng, deputy director of Qingdao Municipal Committee Publicity Department and Director of Qingdao Municipal Information Office, delivered a speech by video, inviting the citizens of Regensburg and German people to visit Qingdao and invest in Qingdao at the right time, and to experience the hospitality of Qingdao people and the openness of the ocean city.
A photo exhibition of Qingdao was also held at the promotion event to show the citizens of Regensburg the city image of “a vibrant ocean city and a livable and lovable city” through more than 10 beautiful pictures.
