Qingdao ranks 15th in regard to comprehensive strength among international shipping centers, the same as last year, according to the Xinhua-Baltic International Shipping Center Development IndexReport2022 released on July 11.

Qingdao boasts 67 sea-railway combined freight trains and as many as 28 inland ports and sees an average annual growth of 14.2% in the number of containers subject to combined trans- port, ranking first in China for seven consecutive years. Qingdao tops northeast Asia in regard to the inter national shipping hub competitiveness index.
