Qingdao Meets Regensburg Zeitung Online Seminar Successfully Held

On October 25, 2022, Qingdao Meets Regensburg Zeitung Online Seminar was successfully held online. Zhu Yiling from the Information Office of Qingdao Municipal Government,  Haifen NAN, managing director of New Synergy Communications, Mathias OTT, media manager of Regensburger Zeitung, and Michael KELLERER, journalist of Regensburger Zeitung, attended the seminar.

At the seminar, Mr.s Zhu expressed her gratitude to Regensburger Zeitung for its long-term contribution to promoting Qingdao and introduced Qingdao's general situation and the exchange between the two cities.
Mr. Mathias OTT affirmed the importance of strengthening the publicity and promotion of the sister city. He said that Regensburger Zeitung was honored to build a bridge for the friendship exchange between the two cities. He hoped that more cooperation could be promoted in the future to further show the beautiful image of Qingdao to the citizens of Regensburg.

Mr. Michael KELLERER shared the positive feedback from German readers from the content editor's perspective, saying that many citizens read the report carefully and were particularly impressed. At the same time, he suggested more features close to the daily life of Qingdao for future publication.
At the seminar, a consensus was reached to further strengthen the promotion of the sister city and media cooperation. In the next step, they will strengthen the planning of selected topics, use the language and reports close to the German audience to better show the city image of Qingdao as a "A Vibrant Ocean City, A Livable and Lovable City" and tell the story of Qingdao in the new era.
