Shandong Element Shines Hong Kong International Film Art Exhibition

From March 13 to 16, the largest film and TV entertainment event in Asia, the 2023 Hong Kong International Film Art Exhibition was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Shandong, which has participated in the exhibition for eight consecutive times, once again built the "Shandong Pavilion" at the exhibition to show the new achievements of the development of Shandong's film and TV industry to audiences at home and abroad.

It is reported that the total area of the "Shandong Pavilion" exhibition area is about 72 ㎡, which comprehensively shows the high-level hardware and software facilities, integrated service system and super industrial production level of the Shandong Film and Television Base represented by the Oriental Movie Metropolis.

Cheng Shoutian, Deputy Director of the Propaganda Department of the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Director of the Shandong Provincial Film Bureau, Peng Ziliang, Deputy Director of the Shandong Provincial Radio and Television Bureau, and Liu Shengqin, Member of the Standing Committee of the Qingdao Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Propaganda Department led 12 relevant film and TV enterprises in Shandong Province, including Qingdao Oriental Movie Metropolis Industry Holding Group and Shandong TV Media Co., Ltd., to participate in the exhibition.

Up to now, the Qingdao Film and Television Base, where the Oriental Movie Metropolis is located, has settled more than 800 film and TV enterprises, received nearly 300 film crews, and sold more than 22.4 billion yuan of film ticket box. It has become a national key film and TV shooting base and a core film and TV area in Shandong Province.
