The 2023 Qingdao Digital Culture Application Development Expo kicked off in Qingdao West Coast New Area (Qingdao WCNA) on April 7.

At the event, scholars, experts and entrepreneurs in the digital culture industry gathered together to talk about topics such as new application, new experience and new consumption. They dug into the philosophies and shared their opinions, aiming to empower the high-quality development of the culture industry with digitalization.

Three documents, namely, the White Paper on the Application of China's Digital Culture, the Shandong Cultural Digitalization Action Plan and the List of High-quality Development Policies for Qingdao Film Base were released at the opening ceremony.

On top of that, a Shandong digital culture industry league was established at the event, and a total of 26 key projects in the industry were signed.

As the first comprehensive expo that focuses on digital culture, the 2023 Qingdao Digital Culture Application Development Expo showcases the digitalization of the culture industry, digital rights management (DRM) and the development of metaverse.

As the event proceeds, there is a keynote forum, six themed forums and more than 40 new product introduction meetings to take place during the event.

Furthermore, an online platform that provides comprehensive services such as the launch of digital culture products, project promotions, and livestreaming will also be built at the event.
