On July 26, 2023, the "Cultural Capital of East Asia" Youth Exchange Activity organized by the Qingdao Education Bureau and the Qingdao Cultural and Tourism Bureau was held as scheduled. 11 outstanding students from Qingdao Experimental High School and 11 students from Niigata High School in Tokyo participated in the online interactive exchange activity. The students from both countries are well prepared, with exquisite PPT, and the exchange atmosphere is warm. It showcases the good demeanor of Qingdao's youth and reflects the beautiful urban image of Qingdao.
It is understood that the "Cultural Capital of East Asia" is a cultural activity to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of China, Japan and the ROK at the Fifth China–Japan–South Korea trilateral summit in May 2012. It is an important measure to further strengthen international cultural exchanges and cooperation, deepen understanding of neighboring countries and enhance friendship.
