On the evening of August 11, the 2023 15th Qingdao International Sailing Week and Qingdao International Marine Festival kicked off at the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center.
This year's Sailing Week and Marine Festival seizes the opportunity of fully resuming offline international exchanges and invites guests and athletes from many countries to come to Qingdao for exchanges and competitions, so as to enhance friendship and promote cooperation.
The goal of this event is to build Qingdao as a "Sailing City" and famous sports city. From August 11 to 20, this year's Sailing Week and Marine Festival, with the theme of "Carrying on Olympic Spirit, Sailing in Qingdao. Building Qingdao into a Vibrant Ocean City and a Livable and Lovable City", launched sailing games, marine leisure tourism, cultural activity ceremonies, the Olympic sailing culture exchanges, sailing and marine industry, sailboat popularization of the six major sections, including 30 races, exchanges, culture and sports, commerce and trade, exhibition and popularization activities, with fashionable sailing sports to ignite the passion of Qingdao in summer.
