On August 20, the 10-day 2023 15th Qingdao International Sailing Week & Qingdao International Marine Festival came to a successful end. In the evening, the Closing Ceremony and Awarding Ceremony was held in the square of the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center. About 90 teams, nearly 600 athletes and referees participated in this event and gathered in Qingdao to experience the passionate sailing activities and the urban carnival where diversified marine cultures converge and mingle.
In the past 10 days, this event launched six major sections including sailing games, marine leisure tourism, cultural activity ceremonies, Olympic sailing cultural exchange, sailing and marine industry, and sailboat popularization as well as 30 sailing races, exchanges, culture and sports, commerce and trade, exhibitions and popularization of activities. All of these activities showed the fashion and vitality of the Sailing City, Qingdao.
