From July 9th to 11th, 2025 “Superior Products of Qingdao” (SPQ) made its debut in Latin America. Organized by China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Qingdao Sub-Council, a total of 15 local tire enterprises attended 2025 Latin Tyre & Auto Parts Expo (LTAPE) in Panama.
On the opening day, SPQ was greatly welcomed. Statistically, over 900 purchasing agents from Latin America and its surroundings were well received and tentative orders valued over 71 million RMB were secured. Mrs. Xu Xueyuan, Chinese Ambassador to Panama, attended 2025 LTAPE and extended great recognition to SPQ.
Held by Latin Expo Group, LTAPE is professionally targeted at Latin America and the Caribbean region with supreme scale and influence. It is a core platform to bridge Qingdao tire enterprises and Latin American markets. Moreover, Panama performs as a key trade partner of China in Latin America. Specifically, the bilateral trade sum ranks third among China’s trade with Latin American countries. Besides, Panama is a major export market for China in the Latin American region, second only to Brazil.
2025 SPQ attended LTAPE, following up Asia Fashion Fair in Tokyo, Japan. In this October, it will appear at 2025 Anuga International Food Fair in Cologne, Germany. By SPQ, CCPIT, Qingdao Sub-Council expects to establish a quality, efficient and professional platform, supporting Qingdao enterprises to go overseas with increasingly steady and quality improvement.
