Qingdao Daily/Guanhai News, November 20 – The 2025 Qingdao Virtual Reality Innovation Conference will commence in Laoshan District on November 21. With the theme "Boundless Virtuality, Intelligent Future," the conference will focus on innovative applications, industrial clustering, achievement transformation, and talent cultivation. It will feature a variety of rich and diverse activities, including an opening ceremony and main forum, a sub-forum on integrated applications, a supply-demand matchmaking event for the virtual reality industry chain, and a virtual reality innovation competition.
It is reported that the conference will inaugurate the Qingdao Virtual Reality Innovation and Sharing Center as its permanent venue. The center, designed in the shape of a dreamlike flying saucer under the theme "Ethereal Ark," includes sections such as an interactive light and shadow lobby, a bowl-screen digital sand table, holographic teardown displays of XR hardware, and a Metaverse Full-Immersion Suspended Dome Flying Theater. Integrating cutting-edge technologies like spatial computing, digital twins, holographic teardown, and virtual production, the center allows attendees to immersively experience core virtual reality technologies and innovative products. It aims to create a national model for a comprehensive virtual reality complex that integrates "exhibition and release, forums and exhibitions, popular science and training, and public experience."
