QINGDAO – A customized passenger transport boarding point at Sam's Club has officially gone into operation, offering residents and tourists a new one-stop "shopping plus transport" travel experience, the Qingdao Bus Terminal announced on Thursday. The initial routes cover Zhucheng, Rushan, Weihai, Binzhou, and Dongying, with more routes to be added based on passenger demand to further expand the service network.
Designed to meet personalized and diversified travel needs, the boarding point leverages an online platform to flexibly set pick-up and drop-off locations for greater efficiency and convenience. Located at the intersection of Ruijiang Road and Changfu Road, 50 meters north of the No. 16 bus stop on Ruijiang Road Changfu Road and opposite the Sam's Club receiving area, the site offers shoppers a convenient nearby boarding option without the need to transfer to a main bus station. Passengers may call the service hotline at 0532-83771677 (service hours: 6:00–18:30 daily) for inquiries.
The boarding point operates on an "online ticketing + fixed-point boarding" model, with no traditional ticket windows. Passengers can purchase tickets in advance via the customized transport online platform or by scanning on-site QR codes. Before boarding, crew members will conduct security checks on luggage using portable inspection devices and strictly verify real-name identities throughout the process to ensure safe and orderly travel. Passengers can purchase tickets by scanning the "Yuecheng" mini-program code or using the "Jiaoyunxing" App to select their preferred buses. On the day of travel, passengers are advised to allow sufficient time, bring valid identification, and arrive at the boarding point early to avoid delays. Upon arrival of the bus, passengers must present valid ID and cooperate with security checks before boarding.
