Since the beginning of summer, Qingdao’s newly launched tourism experience, the “Langlang Beer Bus Coastal Sightseeing Line,” has continued to gain popularity. Featuring immersive coastal sightseeing and interactive experiences, the attraction has won the favor of visitors from both China and abroad, becoming a moving international tourism calling card showcasing Qingdao’s coastal charm and beer culture.
The route has attracted international visitors from multiple countries. Independent travelers from Russia have taken the bus together to explore Qingdao’s seaside scenery, while a tourism industry delegation from Thailand recently visited the city for an on-site familiarization tour. After experiencing the route in depth, the delegation spoke highly of Qingdao’s innovative tourism model combining sightseeing, interaction and culinary experiences.

Unlike traditional sightseeing programs, the Langlang Beer Bus creates a mobile music interaction experience that brings visitors closer through entertainment and cultural exchange. During the tour, the head of the Thailand Tourism Association joined the experience by performing songs with passengers, helping bridge cultural connections between China and other countries. Members of the delegation also shared their experience videos on overseas social media platforms and professional tourism networks, recommending Qingdao’s distinctive tourism resources to the Southeast Asian travel industry.
According to reports, the Langlang Beer Bus Coastal Sightseeing Line officially launched in July this year, introducing an innovative “public transport + tourism” integration model. The service features two themed buses centered around beer and coffee, connecting more than 10 major coastal attractions, including Xiaomai Island and Qingdao No.1 Bathing Beach.

Leveraging the popularity of the 36th Qingdao International Beer Festival, the night-time beer-themed bus has become particularly popular among international visitors. Combining Qingdao’s mountain-and-sea night views, local snacks and fresh draft beer experiences, the route offers a distinctive coastal leisure experience that blends sightseeing, dining and cultural enjoyment.
To better serve international travel groups and other overseas visitor segments, the route continues to enhance its international services by introducing online reservation channels and customized travel solutions. It can now accommodate diverse scenarios, including overseas group tours and educational exchange programs, precisely meeting the sightseeing needs of international visitors.
Looking ahead, the Langlang Beer Bus will continue improving service quality and delivering Qingdao’s maritime charm and beer culture to visitors around the world, further enhancing the city’s image as an international coastal tourism destination.
