Built along the coastline where the mountains meet the sea, this cascading viewing terrace has quickly become a new must-visit destination for locals and travelers alike. With its unobstructed 270-degree panoramic ocean views and elegant minimalist coastal design, the terrace offers the perfect vantage point to admire the beauty of Fushan Bay, enjoy spectacular seaside sunsets and fully immerse in the romance of Qingdao’s mountains and sea. As a core maritime viewing platform of the Qingdao Olympic Sailing Center, the Dreaming Embankment was originally built as an offshore performance platform for the Qingdao Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2018. Covering more than 5,500 square meters, it is one of Qingdao’s rare fully open coastal viewing spaces with a 270-degree panoramic perspective, offering visitors an exceptional view of Fushan Bay, the city skyline and the stunning ocean sunset.
