The 2026 SEE Qingdao Forum was held on October 27 in the West Coast New Area of Qingdao. The event was co-hosted by the Qingdao Municipal Government, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shandong Province, and the Sino-International Entrepreneurs Federation (SIEF). More than 300 representatives from leading Chinese and international companies and business associations, including Mercedes-Benz, the China-Britain Business Council, China Huaneng, and Shandong Port Group, attended.

Under the theme “Collaborative Innovation and High-Quality Development among Central and Local SOEs, Private Enterprises, and Foreign-Invested Firms,” the forum focused for the first time on tripartite collaboration across these three types of market entities as a highlight of China-Europe industrial cooperation. The Qingdao Municipal Government and the West Coast New Area presented their investment environments, while companies including Shandong Hi-Speed Group, the China-Britain Business Council, AUCMA, and Meijin Energy joined panel discussions on “Tripartite Synergy·Intelligent Manufacturing.” Participants explored ways to leverage complementary strengths, build a resilient and open modern industrial system, and align basic research, application, and international collaboration. Now in its seventh consecutive year, the forum serves as a platform for advancing high-standard opening-up and high-quality development.
