As buildings across Asia face increasing performance, efficiency, and decarbonization demands, Armstrong is demonstrating how intelligent design and system-level optimization empower architects, consulting engineers, contractors, and specifiers to deliver more efficient, better-performing HVAC systems.

Intelligent Design

Integrated Designer, a powerful capability within Armstrong's ADEPT selection tool, anchors the Intelligent Design experience, simplifying the selection and sizing of systems and related equipment from a single interface. Visitors will see how integrated selection and system design in one workflow, real-time system performance estimates, and one-click export of equipment schedules and submittal packages reduce manual calculations and support faster, more confident decisions.

Energy-Efficient Technology

Design Envelope Permanent Magnet (DEPM) IVS4380 pumps, Armstrong's system-level optimization technology, anchors the Energy-Efficient Technology experience. HVAC systems spend roughly 90 percent of their operating hours at part load, yet many buildings are still designed around peak-demand assumptions. Design Envelope optimizes entire systems rather than individual components, using sensorless parallel pumping to keep equipment within its preferred operating region as demand shifts through the day. Performance Envelopes with best-efficiency staging versus traditional duty-standby configurations show how redundancy can be right-sized to each building — aligned with ASHRAE guidance, from around 70 percent for typical commercial buildings to up to 100 percent for mission-critical facilities such as data centres. A 3D-printed model of the Design Envelope 4300 will bring the technology to life at the booth.

"Buildings don't run at full load, and systems for them shouldn't be designed as if they do," said Ashok Joshi, Managing Director, India & APAC, Armstrong Fluid Technology. "Integrated Designer and Design Envelope give engineers and building owners a way to right-size their systems from day one, cutting energy use and equipment costs without compromising redundancy or reliability."

Together, these experiences demonstrate how Armstrong's intelligent design and energy-efficient technologies deliver measurable value for architects, consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners across the region. BEX Asia attendees are invited to meet with Armstrong experts for technical discussions, solution demonstrations, and one-to-one performance consultations at the Canada National Pavilion.
