Qingdao Daily/Guanhai News, October 24 — This year marks the 15th anniversary of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area and is also the China-ASEAN Year of People-to-People and Cultural Exchanges. To further promote economic, trade, and cultural ties between the Shandong Peninsula and Southeast Asia, Qingdao Airport, in partnership with Xiamen Airlines, will officially launch two new routes to Southeast Asia on October 26: Qingdao-Fuzhou-Hanoi and Qingdao-Fuzhou-Phnom Penh.
Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is a political, economic, and cultural center, as well as an ancient capital. As a major tourist city, Hanoi boasts the highest number of historical sites and scenic spots in the country, with over 600 pagodas and temples. Key attractions include the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the Hanoi Opera House, and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. The city is dotted with lakes and is known for its evergreen trees and year-round blossoms, earning it the nickname "City of a Thousand Flowers in Spring."
Phnom Penh is the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia, located in the central plains at the confluence of the Mekong, Tonlé Sap, and Bassac rivers. It serves as the nation's political, economic, and cultural hub, as well as a major domestic and international transportation crossroads for air, land, and water travel.

The launch of these new routes will provide passengers with more diverse travel options and build a more convenient air bridge for connectivity between Qingdao and Southeast Asia.
To celebrate the new routes, Xiamen Airlines is offering special promotional fares: one-way tickets from Qingdao to Hanoi (including tax) start at 999 yuan, and one-way tickets from Qingdao to Phnom Penh (including tax) start at 839 yuan, providing travelers with cost-effective choices. (Fares are subject to actual booking). (By Zhou Jianliang, Qingdao Daily/Guanhai News)
