Dazeshan Grapes Are Ripe! The 40th Agri‑tourism Dazeshan Grape Festival to Kick Off on September 5

Aug 27, 2026Byiqingdao

On August 25, the press event for the 40th Agri‑tourism Dazeshan Grape Festival was held in Pingdu. Reporters learned at the event that the festival will open at Impression Dazeshan on September 5. Centered on the theme “Charming Dazeshan, Grapes Fuel Revitalization”, the festival will run for two months until late October.

Nestled in the 37°N golden fruit‑growing belt, Dazeshan boasts favorable natural conditions nurtured by mountains and sea, yielding more than 300 premium grape varieties with rich aroma and bright colour. According to officials, this year’s festival features major upgrades with four key initiatives. All‑region cultural‑tourism joint tickets will be available for consumption discounts at partner businesses to boost the market. New facilities including a grape research centre, cold‑chain logistics hub and Sanli Xinghe · Dongyueshi Hot‑spring Inn have been put into operation to improve the full industrial chain. A 40th‑anniversary industry white paper will be released to review the sector’s development. A sub‑venue will be set up at Beijing Xinfadi Market to build direct supply channels and expand national sales, further enhancing the renowned Dazeshan Grape brand.

Exclusive cultural‑and‑creative products such as themed ice cream and special drinks will meet diverse consumer demands. Visitors can also enjoy grape‑tasting banquets, creative fairs, enterprise exhibitions and rural‑revitalization calligraphy‑and‑painting shows for a rich autumn cultural experience.

Adhering to inclusive and all‑region collaboration, the festival integrates local scenic spots, accommodation, catering and agricultural products. Four boutique tourist routes with tailored guides are offered for convenient one‑stop travel services.

Breaking geographical limits, dual off‑site sub‑venues are launched for the first time. The Impression Jiaodong sub‑venue features intangible‑heritage performances, agricultural fairs and one‑day tour packages to stimulate local consumption. The Beijing Xinfadi sub‑venue focuses on agricultural exports. It promotes geographical‑indication products including Dazeshan grapes and Cuijiaji tomatoes, unveils the “Pingdu Premium Agricultural Products” production‑marketing centre, and gathers over 20 agricultural entities for business negotiations to establish stable sales access to Beijing.

The main‑venue opening ceremony will present artistic performances, grape‑tasting sessions, intangible‑heritage handicraft displays and agricultural‑product bazaars for sightseeing, immersive experiences and shopping. A series of follow‑up activities will be staged, including weekend specialty fairs, an international academic symposium on Tianzhushan Cliff Carvings, cultural‑tourism health consultations and folk art shows. The festival will galvanize all‑region cultural‑tourism consumption, boost the rural economy and inject momentum into Pingdu’s high‑quality cultural‑tourism growth and comprehensive rural revitalization.
